Do you charge fees?

Can you help me book a rental home or apartment through Airbnb or VRBO?

We have an amazing network of villa partners and rental apartments around the world, with exclusive access to private listings. We do not work with rental websites such as VRBO or Airbnb and only use accredited local brokers who visit and maintain their properties to preserve quality control. We also offer many other unique accommodations like haciendas, castles, treehouses, and ranches, and we would be happy to help you find the best place for your trip.

What are the benefits of booking through CCT instead of booking on my own?

We specialize in becoming experts in your preferences, travel dreams, and long-term travel plans. Each proposal we curate is completely different depending on the client’s desires – there are no “stock” trips!

We also simplify the overwhelming work of planning travel and eliminate the headaches and time you would spend comparing endless options online for your destination. We have strong networks and longstanding relationships with the best travel providers all over the world, giving our clients access to the best guides, drivers, and travel experiences.

Thanks to these relationships, many of our preferred partners provide extra amenities for our clients, such as complimentary breakfast, spa and resort credits, or an upgraded room if available. Finally, we will monitor your trip while you are traveling, and assist with any unexpected “bumps” you may experience along the way!

How far in advance do I need to plan my vacation?

Like most things in life, it depends. Planning time and costs are highly variable and dependent on many factors. If you want to travel during non-peak times, last minute trips are easier to plan. If you want to travel during peak seasons, school breaks, or summertime, then it’s best to begin thinking about it a year in advance. For the most popular destinations, beginning to think about the trip more than a year ahead is recommended.

We can book a hotel room with special perks on fairly short notice, while planning for longer trips with highly tailored itineraries can take between 20-50 hours of work spread out over weeks or months.

What is Virtuoso?

Virtuoso is a network of select “invite-only” travel advisors that has preferred relationships with the world’s top luxury hotels, resorts, cruise lines, and tour operators. These partnerships allow CCT to give you advantages, special values, and unique experiences. What budgets do you work with?

Budgets vary greatly depending on where you are going, the number of days, how active you want to be, and whether any touring is done in small groups or privately.

Not including airfare, most of our full-scale North American (Canada, Mexico, U.S., and the Caribbean) trips for 2 people start around $7,500 per week and our international trips (normally ~10-12 days) start at $12,500. We find that these are the rough starting points from which we can provide the most value to your trip and leverage our highly vetted luxury travel partners.

What happens if I run into an issue during travel?

We are here to help! Please contact us if you have any issues during your travels and we will do our best to support you and resolve any issues expediently. We will also arm you with local in-country contacts such as your hotel, tour operator, or guide (if applicable).

Do you provide travel insurance?

We have a dedicated, highly experienced insurance desk that can quote and provide you with different insurance options to meet your specific needs and trip. In fact, we highly encourage you to secure a safety net of insurance when booking your travel. If you chose not to purchase insurance from our quotes or elsewhere, we ask that you sign a waiver acknowledging your choice.
